Born in Dearborn, Michigan, Rocky grew up in King of Prussia. Her mother’s relatives lived in southern Chester County. As a result, she was exposed to many aspects of the horse world. Rocky never passed up a “free ride.” In a largely hunter-jumper area, she also experienced barrel racing and thoroughbred racing communities. In 1991, Rocky graduated from Centenary College with a Bachelors degree in Equine Studies. Foxhunters and polo ponies were among up to sixty horses in her care on a daily basis. Rocky joined CEHS in 2006 and has recently returned to riding. Her Husky-Lab mix, Dylan, is her constant companion. He is the exuberant greeter at the office.
